You know, I think I’ve figured out why I feel great at the beginning of every term and then slowly slide downhill until the end. I took a closer look at my diet and realized, that for the first few weeks of every term, I have real food; Fresh vegetables, etc. And then as the term progresses I reduce to eating things that are only starch and protein. (Pizza pops, quick cooking stuff.) Thus, My attitude slowly gets worse in an almost linear relation to the time from the beginning of the term.
Thus, there are only 1 or 2 choices I can do. One, I can find a real girlfriend who will cheer me up over the course of the term. Two, I can actually try to make sure my diet is good and spend the extra time working out my diet.
Either way it’s a good idea. Perhaps this could explain a lot of depression out there lately. As the latest statistics show, depression has been on the rise. Perhaps if we compare this against obesity rates, and the dietary patterns, we would notice that depression is directly related to dietary habits….
Perhaps it’s not Prozac, but parsnips, and peas is what americans need.
