So, today I was in the comfy with Dean, and naturally we started to bug eachother by asking weird questions or giving weird responses.

Well, one thing led to another, and he asked me, "Describe your sex life in one word." Well, at first I was going to say the standard responses, such as non-existent or traumatic… but then I thought, hey, let’s see if I can find a word that has absolutely no way to make it sexual with only one leap of logic… and thus began Dean’s and my game… Which words strictly have more than 1 degree of separation from sex. 1 degree means that you have to use the word directly in a situation to explain your sex life. ie. you cannot use windshield to say you have sex in cars because you need to say a windshield is in a car. However, you can say a windshield is a fetish, or that your sex life is like a windshield, clear and hard to penetrate.

Well, from this we developed some interesting propositions and conjectures.

Proposition 1.0 - All Adjectives have 1 degree of separation from being sexual.

This proof is trivial, since I can always state "My *adjective* sex life". QED

Proposition 1.1 - All Adverbs have 1 degree of separation from being sexual.

Again, this proof is trivial. All you have to say is that "**Adverb** making love" describes your sex life, and thus 1 degree of separation. QED

Lemma 1.2 - All non-modal verbs have 1 degree of separation from being sexual.

Now, we can always say for verbs which are not modal, that having sex is like **verb** for us. So all of those verbs are covered. QED

Lemma 1.3 - All modal verbs have 1 degree of separation from being sexual.

Now, modal verbs can be placed in line with "making love." So naturally you’ll get something like I would make love, which can give you in one logical leap, the would if I could…. etc. So these verbs require more of a leap, it still can occur in one step by using the modal verb to modify the verb "making love." QED

Proposition 1.4 - All verbs are 1 degree of separation from being sexual.

This follows naturally from Lemma 1.2 and 1.3. QED

Conjecture 1.5 - All nouns are 1 degree of separation from being sexual.

This one is actually pretty hard to prove. While naturally you can easily move most nouns to a position of fetish. There exist nouns like "ceiling" which have to be thought out further. Such as "the ceiling is hard to reach." Since this can easily be compared to sex, this is equivalent to 1 degree of separation. Unfortunately, I cannot come up with an easy way to cover all nouns. Thus, this remains a conjecture.

Conjecture 1.6 - To, By and Of are the only 3 words that are more than 1 degree of separation from sexual connotations.

Try it, it’s impossible to link these up with sexual connotations without using another words as a degree to link them.

Either way, there may be nouns that work, and other words than of, to, and by. It’s a fun game to say words back and forth and try to figure out how that word could represent someones sex life.

It’s quite funny… for the last 4 years people have been saying you cannot dislike the American people because "it’s not their fault, they didn’t elect Bush."

Well… we were wrong, it is their fault. Since this time Bush has probably more or less won the presidency and has won the popular vote, we can say that the American people support Bush’s policies. So if you don’t like bush…. you can work out the rest.
