Well, this has been a creative month. I totally forgot how much I enjoy sitting down, designing a page from scratch and then building it up. So yeah, I have now finished all 3 of my primary home pages so they are more modern, and work nicely in IE and firefox.

Perhaps now I’ll get up the nerve and creativity to recode something new and better for ptbcanadian.com. Just need to come up with some ideas, perhaps something that will utilize my love of game theory and network flow theory so I can code some fun algorithms.

I am in a particularly creative mood lately, and kinda sick of the complaints I have been hearing about how bright green on black is hard to read. (Hey, if it was good enough for the 5250s it’s good enough for me.) So, I decided it was time to update my 1337hax0r.com site, it’s got a nice black/green/white scheme, which is hopefully easier to read, as well as does not draw too much attention away from the articles themselves.

I’m actually pretty happy with it. I’ve been sketching ideas for about a week now, and this one turned out better than I expected. I especially enjoy the numerical sequence to the right. It is not just random numbers, and will hopefully leave a few visitors scratching their heads as they try to figure it out.

So, after many years of disrepair, I decided it was time to finally update and redo my poetry site. http://reality.ptbcanadian.com , so I have redone it and moved it to http://reality.1337hax0r.com . Not only is it much nicer than the old design, but it looks right in both IE and Firefox, and hopefully I’ve been able to remove as much of the distraction from enjoying the poetry and aesthetics as possible.

Either way, I’m pretty happy with my days work today. I need to sit down and do real web design more often, I actually quite enjoy it.
