The legislation would also give Ontario cabinet ministers a $31,000 increase to $157,633 a year, while McGuinty would get a $39,000 raise to $198,620.
Think about that for just a second. These are same crooks who have let tuitions raise beyond belief at Universities in Ontario, have not improved healthcare, or given basically anything to the ordinary Ontarians that would even remotely be worth that much. And why did they do it? Basically their excuse is that the municipalities and federal positions are milking the constituents that much more.
The Liberals and the Tories also said the higher salaries will stop members from leaving for greener pastures federally or municipally, and will help attract better candidates for next October’s provincial election.
Crooks, all of them. Crooks and Liars. Anyone who is making more than three times as much as their average constituent and demands that they get paid more otherwise they’ll move to other government positions that rob their constituents just as much is simply that. Ontarians need to fire the lot of them. The Liberals because they are liars and are padding their pockets rather than enacting liberal policies that help all Ontarians (like putting more money into schools, business investment and universal healthcare), and the Conservatives because they are crooks and padding their pockets rather than enacting conservative policies (like not spending so much government money and decreasing taxes).
